Current Projects

Currently, WEAG is excavating at Copped Hall on behalf of the Copped Hall Trust, investigating the remains of the 16th Century Tudor Mansion.  WEAG has also undertaken investigations at Wanstead
Park, further work may be carried out there in future.

Copped Hall Trust Archaeological Project 2019

The 2019 season of digs open to the public will start with three Archaeology Experience Weekends for absolute beginners in July (13th - 14th, 20th - 21st, 27th - 28th).

These will be followed by a Field School of 5 days for the more experienced digger, running from Saturday 10th to Wednesday 14th August.
